An overlooking view of this old mill in Terrasa (near Barcelona) dated in 1907. Today this building houses the Museu de la Ciència i de la Tècnica de Catalunya (mNACTEC). It is a unique building, built by the architect LluÃs Muncunill in 1908, author of other important buildings in Terrassa. The factory covering system is called 'volta Catalana' a method to cover lightly a surface (popularized by Guastavino in Boston and New York). In turn, their placement in the form of sawtooth, allows a large luminosity.
