This lake lies at an altitude of about 2000 meters (6500 ft) into the wide valley of Jackson Hole and opposite stand 2000 meters (6500 ft) over the scenic blue mountains of Grand Teton. Also it is worth to visit the nearby Jackson town, a quiet place to stay.
